Starlight
Parade

The Starlight Parade continues to be a longtime festival tradition dating back to the early 1900s—originally floats built on electric trolley cars! Today, approximately 100 illuminated floats, bands and participants will wind their way through the 2.25-mile route downtown. This is a twinkling, summer night downtown that you and the family don’t want to miss. No Charge

Since 1907 ships and submarines from the U.S Navy, U.S. Coast Guard and the Royal Canadian Navy have dropped anchor at the Portland Waterfront. Over 100 years strong, Fleet Week celebrates active and reserve military personnel and all veterans. Climb aboard and take a tour! No Charge

Fruit Beer Festival
June 8th - 10th
Join the Portland Fruit Beer Festival for its 8th year! This event boasts the largest selection of fruit beers, food from local venders and music. Located at 7th Avenue & E. Burnside Street. All ages are welcome!

Scandinavian Midsummer Festival

Head to Oaks Park to celebrate summer solstice at the 90th Annual Scandinavian Midsummer Festival! It’s tradition to warm up after a long and cold winter by celebrating with friends, food, and drinks. Featuring: a Maypole, food, games, bonfire, Nordic crafts, vendors and artists. Scandinavian roots not required!

Rose Festival Grand Floral Parade

For over 100 years, Oregonians have been making memories at the Spirit Mountain Casino Grand Floral Parade! This cherished highlight of the festival is a colorful reflection of the local, regional and international communities. The parade commences at the Memorial Coliseum at 10am and winds its way downtown along a new 4.2-mile route. No Charge

Boat Races

As a tradition for the last three decades, The Rose Festival hosts the Portland Rose Festival Dragon Boat Race. This race will be held on the Willamette River next to the Hawthorne Bridge. Watch more than 80 local and international teams compete in heats that are held every nine minutes! No Charge

Zoo Summer Concerts
June 14th - September 12th
Grab your family and friends for one of the many concerts that the Oregon Zoo will be hosting. Enjoy great music by famous artists, food, and local beer & wine selections. Artists include: Ziggy Marley, Violent Femmes, Indigo Girls, The Roots, Amos Lee, Pink Martini, Billy Idol and many more!

Pride Festival and Parade
June 16th - 17th
This event celebrates equality, the LGBTQ community, friends, families and allies! The parade commences at 11 a.m. Sunday at NW Park Ave. & W Burnside Street (see website for route). The Festival will be held all weekend at the Tom McCall Waterfront Park and features food, beverages and local vendors.

Day Cruise

Treat dad to a cruise on board the Portland Spirit for Father’s Day. This Sunday activity includes a private table, brunch buffet, variety of beverages, dessert and a special treat for Dad! Multiple cruises are available on the Portland Spirit and the Columbia Gorge Sternwheeler.

Bike Ride
June 23rd
This Portland famous event is held in conjunction with the annual World Naked Bike Ride. Hundreds of naked cyclists pedal the streets of Portland to promote bicycling, safe streets, and body positivity. No Charge with suggested donation.

This Portland summer weekend tradition has been enjoyed for 17 years! Enjoy over 200 world-class beers (classic styles to exotic new-world hybrids), listen to live music, and stroll the North Park Blocks in The Pearl.
