Oregon Zoo Summer Concerts

July 1st - September 12th

Grab your family and friends for one of the many concerts that the Oregon Zoo will be hosting. Enjoy great music by famous artists, food, and local beer & wine selections. Artists include: Ziggy Marley, Violent Femmes, Indigo Girls, The Roots, Amos Lee, Pink Martini, Billy Idol and many more!


Annual Waterfront Blues Festival

July 4th - 7th

The Waterfront Blues Festival is the largest celebration of blues, soul, funk, and rhythm & blues west of the Mississippi! Featuring 150 performances on four stages, vendors, food, river boat cruises, and more! Bring the family for the festival’s spectacular 4th of July fireworks show!


Pepsi 4th of July Spectacular

Head to Oaks Amusement Park for Portland’s favorite 4th of July celebration! Featuring first come first serve access to all picnic areas, extended ride and roller skating hours and the city’s best fireworks display.


Noon Tunes Summer Concert Series

For the 28th year in a row, Pioneer Courthouse Square will host Noon Tunes Concert Series. Concerts are every Tuesday from 12pm – 1pm and feature dozens of artists. Eight of the concerts are completely free!


The Big Float

The Big Float’s goal is to encourage people to “get into their river” and support its health and preservation. This event benefits the Human Access Project and is open to all ages. It kicks off with a parade, march through Tom McCall Waterfront Park and the float put-in point begins at “Poet’s Beach” beneath the Marquam Bridge. Featuring food carts, beer/wine garden, sponsor booths, live music barge on the river, and a kids’ activities area!


2018 Mississippi Street Fair

The Mississippi Street Fair runs from 10 AM – 9 PM and will feature over 200 local vendors, 6 stages and 40 plus bands. Grab a bite at the food carts and a drink at the fair’s beer garden. This event is open to all ages and is free!


Flicks on the Bricks

July 20th - August 17th

Grab the kids and head to Pioneer Courthouse square for Flicks on the Bricks. The square is transformed into the City’s largest outdoor theatre and the best part is it’s completely free! Films include: Wonder Woman, Coco, Black Panther, Grease, and Mean Girls. Attendees are encouraged to bring low back chairs, cushions, pillows or bean bags!


Stumptown Cluster – Portland Kennel Club Dog Show

July 20th - 22nd

The Portland Expo Center hosts the Stumptown Cluster. Friday’s schedule boasts specialty breeds and Saturday & Sunday will include all other breeds. Bring the family—admission is free!


The Phantom of the Opera
